“You’re just an adrenaline junkie! A high risk, gambling lunatic hell-bent on sending yourself to an early grave! A crackpot with a death wish and little regard for your own life, nor a thought for those you’d leave behind when the inevitable happens! Why don’t you get involved in a safe sport? Like skydiving, or fishing, or photography?”
If, like me, you’ve spent your life justifying your eccentric desire to soar like a bird to friends and family who claim they know better and dismiss your life giving passion as just a crazy act of self gratifying egotism, or worse still, some form of death wish, then you’ll be more familiar with the preceeding diatribe. The smug terra-firmites think they’ve got it right, yet new evidence has recently been unveiled that shows that flying is actually good for you, and the more the better. So get out there and spread your wings!

I went to Twin Falls, ID this last weekend, home of the only bridge in the U.S. where base jumping is publicly accepted year round. This was my first bridge jump, it was amazing; I went with the infamous Dork Zone Hero, who runs an awesome Death Camp and is one of the most extreme, coolest, funniest people I know.
Stayed at the HomeBASE hostel, met some really cool people, Serena, Dustin, Andrew, Angela, Jimmy & Marta, and Ted Whiting who took the pics!
